Meet the Big Tex 16TL Tilt Bed Equipment Trailer
Controlled, Every Inch
Hydraulic Dampening With Valve Control and a One-Pedal Lock
The 16TL’s tilt is hydraulically dampened with valve control, so the deck lowers and returns smoothly instead of slamming — and the cylinder can be locked to hold the deck exactly where you want it during loading. A single-side EZ pedal locking mechanism secures everything for transport from one spot, no walking the trailer, no second person required.
Super Duty Running Gear
8,000 lb Oil-Bath Axles Under 17.5" Load Range H Radials
Under the deck, twin 8,000 lb premium axles ride with oil-bath hubs and Valcrum caps — running gear built for constant heavy loading with less maintenance — wrapped in ST215/75R-17.5 Load Range H radial tires. Electric brakes work both axles, a 12,000 lb side-wind drop-leg jack plants the nose, and cargo capacity lands at 13,420 lbs on the 20′ model and 13,360 lbs on the 22′.
Secured From Every Angle
Six 5/8" D-Rings, Rub Rail, and Stake Pockets

Quick Answers Before You Order
Big Tex 16TL FAQs
These are some of the most common questions shoppers ask about the Big Tex 16TL before they decide to order. These FAQs break down what the 16TL is, how it’s built, pricing basics, and how ordering works through our dealership.
How does the 16TL load equipment without ramps?
The rear 16′ deck tilts hydraulically to a 12° angle and equipment drives up over a 1/4″ diamond plate knife edge — then the dampened deck settles flat and a single-side pedal locks it for transport. No ramps to store, no steep approach angles.
